Rolled cement mixer causes rush hour delays

A crash involving a loaded cement mixer caused morning rush hour delays in West Sussex on Friday.

The vehicle rolled onto its side on the A259 Brighton Road at Saltings roundabout in Shoreham at about 06:30 GMT

Police, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, and South East Coast Ambulance Service all attended, with one person treated for minor injuries.

Sussex Police said no other vehicles were involved, with one lane closed to recover the lorry.
