Some residents have been evacuated from an area of Surrey because a potentially hazardous substance has been found at a property, police say.

Surrey Police said on Friday morning a woman's body was found at an address in Weybridge High Street.

There was not thought to be any third party involvement or suspicious circumstances, said police.

A force spokesperson added: "Due to a potentially hazardous substance found in the property, the road has been temporarily closed and a number of people in the immediate vicinity have been evacuated as a safety precaution."

The road has now fully reopened and residents have been allowed back into their homes.
