A teenager who stabbed a 15-year-old and assaulted another boy has been banned from entering two towns.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent after he stabbed his victim in the leg in Marlborough, Wiltshire, on 7 November 2023.

He admitted grievous bodily harm without intent after an incident in Royal Wootton Bassett on 7 September 2023, where he assaulted a 14-year-old in Noremarsh Park.

The teenager was sentenced at Swindon Crown Court to a six-month curfew and was banned from entering Royal Wootton Bassett and Marlborough for three months.

He will also be subject to a youth rehabilitation requirement of 91 days of extended activity.
