Police want to speak to Luke Casson about an attack in Shoeburyness

Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with "an incident of grievous bodily harm" following a doorstep attack that left a victim with a serious neck injury.

Essex Police said a number of suspects attacked the victim as they opened their front door in Rosewood Lane, Shoeburyness, on the evening of Wednesday 28 August.

The victim was seriously hurt and was taken to hospital by paramedics.

Officers are appealing for help to find Luke Casson, 34, who is described as being about 6ft and of heavy build with short, dark red hair and a ginger beard.

He has connections to Shoebury, Benfleet and Canvey.
