Two people have been arrested following a drugs raid on a property near Chesterfield.

Derbyshire Police said officers went to an address in Curbar Curve, Inkersall, on Monday morning "acting on intelligence" passed on to them.

The fire service and paramedics also attended the scene near the junctions of McMahon Avenue and Kinder Road as a precaution over "concerns around substances", the force said.

Officers from Staveley Safer Neighbourhood Team said two people were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply drugs.

There is not believed to be any risk to anyone outside the address being searched and no other homes are being evacuated, the force added.
