Eight people have been arrested and charged in connection with a disturbance in Glasgow city centre.

Emergency services were called to St Enoch's Square at around 18:15 on Saturday.

Four people were taken to hospital but have now been discharged.

Officers have charged six men, aged 31, 33, 34, 36, 37 and 41, and two women, aged 40 and 43, in connection with the disturbance. They are due to appear at court at a later date.
