Man dies after being hit by a lorry on A50

A 24-year-old man has died after being hit by a lorry on Saturday.
The crash happened at about 02:40 BST on the A50 in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, between the Derby Road roundabout and the McDonald’s roundabout, according to police.
The man died at the scene, they said.
The driver of the HGV was uninjured, the Staffordshire force added.
Police said they were keen to speak to anyone who was traveling in the area, along the A50 from 01:45 BST on Saturday, and may have dashcam footage that could help investigators.
