A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash with a tractor in North Yorkshire.
The man was overtaking another vehicle on the A59 at Hampsthwaite, near Harrogate, on Wednesday, when his red motorbike collided with the John Deere tractor, North Yorkshire Police said.
The rider was taken to hospital after the crash, which happened at about 19:50 BST at the junction with Burley Bank Road.
He is currently in a "serious condition", the force said, with the tractor driver uninjured.
Police said the tractor driver remained at the scene to help officers with their investigation, with a section of the road closed for several hours following the crash.
Witnesses who saw the collision or either of the vehicles prior to the crash have been asked to come forward.
