A host of weird and wonderful creations, made entirely of flowerpots, have gone on display around a seaside village.

Spongebob Squarepants, Darth Vader and The Simpsons are just some of the attractions on offer at the third annual Flamborough Flowerpot Festival in East Yorkshire.

The BBC has been out and about to spot some of the contenders for the top of the pots at the event, which runs until the end of June.
