Mobile phone warning as phone holding driver fined
- Published
Police officers are warning motorists about driving while holding a mobile phone.
It comes after Thames Valley Police (TVP) officers stopped a female driver who had her phone in her hand while at the wheel on the A329 over the weekend.
Officers said they slowed down to get a "better look" and she "brazenly showed her phone out the window" as she continued to drive.
TVP said on its Facebook page that the driver was pulled over and given six points and a £200 fine for the offence.
