A road in Nottingham city centre has reopened after being closed in both directions when a pedestrian was hit by a car.
Nottinghamshire Police said officers were called to Mansfield Road earlier, with the closure in place near the Shakespeare Street junction.
The nature of any injuries to the pedestrian has not yet been confirmed by the force, which described the incident as a "serious collision".
Bus services were diverted during the closure before the road was reopened to traffic.
