Four teenagers sentenced after man stabbed

Four teenagers have been sentenced after a man was stabbed during a series of violent attacks.
A man in his 20s was stabbed in Brocklesbury Close, Watford, on 24 July 2025, he has since recovered.
It was one of a number of incident in the town, including a drive-by shooting on the A41 the following day.
At Reading Crown Court the four teenagers, two aged 17 and two aged 19, admitted to wounding with intent and possessing bladed articles.
The oldest defendant, Desmond Bonato, 19, of Raphael Drive in Watford, was also convicted of a violent disorder charge.
He was sentenced to nine years and six months in a youth offenders institute, along with 19-year-old, Emmanuel Nyamutenha, of King Georges Avenue.
Two 17-year-old boys, one from London and one from Kent, who can not be named because of their age, were both sentenced to six years and four months detention.
Det Insp Michael Ball said: "The level of violence shown in this incident has absolutely no place in Hertfordshire.
"I am pleased that the sentences reflect the seriousness of their actions and hope this brings reassurance to the residents of Watford."
The teenagers were sentenced on 10 October.
