A man has died and two others have been taken to hospital following a crash between two motorbikes and a car in Worcestershire, the ambulance service has said.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the scene in Cotheridge, Worcester, at 18:38 BST on Thursday.

A service spokesperson said: "On arrival crews found an off-duty paramedic performing CPR on a man, one of the motorcyclists, who was in a critical condition.

"Crews immediately began administering advanced life support. Sadly, despite best efforts, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene."

A second man, also a motorcyclist, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

A woman, the driver of the car, was assessed for minor injuries and taken to hospital as a precaution.
