A Kent man says he is "so grateful" to paramedics who helped saved him when his heart stopped for six minutes.
Aydan Adams, 23, from Dover, was found unresponsive at his grandmother's house in November 2023 and taken to hospital, where he later suffered a cardiac arrest.
He was transferred to a London hospital where he remained in a coma for three weeks.
Mr Adams said: "I wouldn't be standing here today without everyone and I'm so grateful to those who helped me."
He said it was "so great" to be reunited 16 months on with some of the paramedics who helped save him and to thank them.
The South East Coast Ambulance Service crew administered medication before taking Mr Adams to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
Paramedic Bob Campbell, said: "It's not often we get to meet our patients again after such a critical event, so to see Aydan looking so well is really special.
"It's a reminder of why we do what we do."
Charlotte Davis, senior emergency medical advisor, said: "Every second counts in situations like this and I am so pleased we were able to assess Aydan and get him to hospital before he went into cardiac arrest."
