Road and rail users have been urged to plan ahead in advance of closures and diversions for the Brighton Marathon.
The majority of road closures across the city will begin at 06:00 BST on Sunday, with scheduled reopening times throughout the afternoon and evening.
Rail passengers are being advised that Preston Park and London Road stations will be closed until 11:00 on the day.
The marathon starts in Preston Park across various wave times from 09:45 and will end at Hove Lawns.
A 10k race is also taking place on the same day.
Up to 20,000 participants are expected across the weekend's events, organisers said.
Road closures include the A23 Preston Road, A259 Kingsway, St James's Street and Madeira Drive.
Three vehicle crossing points will be in operation on Sunday morning at Old Steine, Preston Circus and Sackville Road.
There will also be three park and ride locations set up on the edges of the city at Mill Road, Moulsecoomb and Falmer.

Dozens of roads across Brighton and Hove will be affected by the marathon
A Brighton Marathon spokesperson said road closures, parking suspensions and footpath closures would be in place to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
"In the lead-up to the event, you will spot yellow road closure signs displayed on affected roads," they said.
"Parking suspensions will be in place across the route, so please check your area for suspension signage."
Brighton's main railway station will remain open all day with event marshals on hand to help runners and spectators find their way to the start line, which is a 15-minute walk away.
Jenny Saunders, Southern and Thameslink's customer service director, said: "With so many people taking part in this year's Brighton Marathon weekend, we are closing Preston Park and London Road stations on the morning of the event to avoid overcrowding."
