Man charged after Black Isle drugs seizure

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the recovery of drugs with a street value of more than £65,000 on the Black Isle.

Police Scotland said officers on routine patrol noticed a vehicle in a secluded car park in the North Kessock area shortly after midnight on Friday.

A search found a quantity of cocaine and cannabis as well as large amount of genuine and counterfeit cash.

Police said a man was due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday.
