Police make two more arrests after triple stabbing

Two teenagers have been discharged from hospital while one man, 18, remains in hospital in a stable condition after being stabbed in Freston

Police have arrested two more people, a17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, after three people were stabbed last week.

Cambridgeshire Police were called to Freston in the Paston area of Peterborough just after midnight on 17 August.

Three teenagers were taken to hospital with stab wounds.

A 17-year-old boy detained last week remains on bail until 18 November.

So far, three people from Peterborough have been detained on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH).

Of the latest arrests, the 17-year-old boy has been released on bail until 22 November and the 18-year-old man has been bailed until 21 October.

Two victims, both 17, have since been discharged from hospital, while one 18-year-old remains in hospital.

Cambridgeshire police said his condition was not life-threatening.

Last week, members of the public living in Paston shared concerns about the neighbourhood and called for more visible policing in the area.
