Investigation under way after house fire

A house down Ferozeshah Road in Devizes. It is red brick and has solar panels on the roof. It has been damaged by fire - all the windows are open and there is soot on the tiles. Debris can be seen in front of the house. There is a green fence cordoning off the side of the house, as well as police tape and a blue road arrow telling drivers to pass on the right. An investigation has been launched following a fire at a property.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service was called to Ferozeshah Road in Devizes, Wiltshire, at 18:53 GMT on Saturday.

Crews from Devizes, Calne and Marlborough attended with breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a main jet.

Firefighters advised residents to keep their windows and doors closed as the blaze caused a "significant smoke plume".

A spokesperson confirmed the fire was extinguished at 01:19 GMT on Sunday.
