Man held after woman sexually assaulted in field

A man was arrested after a woman was sexually assaulted near a cricket club in Stoke-on-Trent.
The woman, in her 30s, was attacked in a field behind Church Road, Longton, between 15:00 and 18:00 BST on 6 September, Staffordshire Police said.
A spokesperson said the assault took place just off Trentham Road, close to Longton Cricket Club.
Now the suspect, aged 33 and from Stoke-on-Trent, has been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
The woman's attacker was described as a white, aged in his 30s, of slim build and about 5ft 10in tall.
At the time, he was wearing a bright green T-shirt, black shorts, a black cap and purple trainers.
He was also wheeling a BMX prior to the incident and had been accompanied by a woman at some point, police said.
She was described as having brown hair and wearing leggings and a black puffer-style jacket.
