A fire has broken out at a mid-terraced house in Corby, leading to a road being closed.

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to Shetland Way just after midday.

Smoke was seen rising from the roof of the property and crews from Corby, Kettering and Rothwell - as well as an aerial appliance - were working to stop the flames spreading to neighbouring homes.

Nearby residents have been asked to keep their windows closed while firefighters deal with the blaze.
