Man denies murder after 53-year-old dies in Swindon

A man has pleaded not guilty to murder after a 53-year-old man died in a serious assault in Swindon.

Terry Ricketts was seriously injured on 25 February in Westbourne Court and died at the scene, police said.

Grant Walker, 32, of Faringdon Road, Swindon, is charged with his murder, which he denied at Bristol Crown Court on Friday.

Mr Walker was remanded into custody and a trial date has been set at the same court for 12 August.
