A man has been arrested after a crash that led to the death of eight geese in Dartford.

The 19-year-old, who is from Dartford, was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty and driving without a licence or insurance, and bailed until 25 October.

Kent Police said the birds were found dead in Anchor Boulevard on Sunday.

He said: "We will always investigate reports where wildlife may have been harmed deliberately."
