Man arrested for attempted murder after stabbing

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in Gloucester.
Police were called to an address on Cromwell Street in the early hours of Tuesday and found a man who had several wounds.
He was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for treatment, where he remains.
A man in his 20s from the Forest of Dean was arrested nearby and remains in custody for questioning.
Forensic enquiries have been taking place at the scene through the night and police say there will be a visible presence while searches continue.
Gloucestershire Police are in the early stages of an investigation but believe two other men, who were described as being white, were involved in the attack.
Officers want anyone living nearby with doorbell footage or CCTV to get in touch.
Those with cameras are asked to review their footage between the times of 01:25 to 03:10 GMT.
