Pictures of a man who police believe could be a key witness to a collision in which a 15-year-old boy died have been released.

Pedestrian Ryan Marshall was killed when he was hit by a silver Ford Fiesta in New Street, Andover, Hampshire, at 18:00 GMT on 21 December.

The teenager was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries the next day.

A woman, 29, from Andover, who was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs was released from custody last month but remains under police investigation.

The force released the pictures on Friday in an effort to track the man down

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary issued the CCTV images of a man who was in the area at the time of the crash and might have seen something that could help officers.

While the pictures are "not of great quality", the man could still be identifiable to himself and people who know him, the force said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 and quote the reference number 44240554969.

In a statement released after Ryan's death, his mother said he was a "lovely, caring boy with a cheeky smile and wicked, cheeky sense of humour".
