A43 partly closed after 'serious' crash

Northamptonshire Police has advised motorists to find alternative routes

Part of a major road has been closed in both directions after a serious collision involving a pedestrian.

Emergency services were called to Kettering, Northamptonshire, at 06:15 BST after an incident between junction seven of the A14 and the A6003 roundabout.

Part of the A43 has been closed and motorists have been advised to take alternative routes.

Northamptonshire Police said the incident involved a vehicle and a pedestrian, who had been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
