A woman has been arrested as part of an investigation over claims of wedding video fraud.

Kent Police have investigated allegations from couples who allegedly paid hundreds of pounds for wedding videos that they never received.

A spokesperson for the force said a 34-year-old had been arrested on 23 January in relation to fraud and theft offences.

The woman, understood to be a videographer, has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.

The arrest comes after the BBC reported claims from couples who said they had employed a videographer and were allegedly still waiting to receive their wedding videos.
