Public park closed after discovery of man's body

A man's body has been discovered in a public park, sparking a police investigation.

Wiltshire Police said they responded to reports of a body being found at Queen's Park in Swindon just after 07:30 BST on Tuesday.

A cordon has been put in place and the park closed off to the public to allow officers and forensic teams to preserve and examine the scene.

An ambulance crew attended alongside police officers, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
