Attempted murder arrests after man shot in head

Police have arrested seven people in total, including two on suspicion of attempted murder

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was shot in West Bromwich.
The victim, in his 20s, suffered gunshot wounds to his head and shoulder after a vehicle was fired at on Trinity Way shortly after 11:30 BST on 1 May.
He was treated for his injuries in hospital and was later discharged, West Midlands Police said.
A force spokesperson said seven people were arrested on Tuesday evening in connection with the shooting and class A drugs were also recovered.
Two men from West Bromwich, aged 21 and 22, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder while another two from the town, aged 26 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife in a public place.
Three men from Birmingham, aged 20, 21 and 22, were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to supply class A drugs and assisting an offender.
