How to bridge treatment gap in rural India

Millions of people around the world are affected by common mental health disorders like depression and suicidal tendencies. But even in the most developed nations, these conditions can go untreated and in some cases, undiagnosed.

The treatment gap in India is particularly large - in some rural areas there is often just one doctor per 30,000 people.

Suranjana Tewari reports from the state of Andhra Pradesh, where one project is using technology to bridge the gap.
