Inside the British army 'psy-ops' headquarters

Military psychological operations - or psy-ops - have long had a shadowy reputation, thanks partly to the secrecy which surrounds them.

But now the British unit, 15 Psy Ops Group, is being awarded the Firmim Sword of Peace - a prize for the work they have done in Afghanistan in setting up radio stations.

For the first time, the unit has allowed a broadcaster in to see their work at their home base, at Chicksands in the UK.

Commander Steve Tatham showed defence correspondent Caroline Wyatt some of the equipment used in their work.
