Would you stay in a 'compact' hotel room?

UK hotel chain Premier Inn has announced it is expanding into the market of compact rooms.

A typical "Hub room" is just 11 square metres in size - but squeezes in a bed, television, storage facility and an en-suite bathroom.

So will we soon be seeing Japanese style 'sleeping capsules' in the UK?

Whitbread Chief Executive Andy Harrison told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast, "These are not capsules - these are perfectly sizable rooms... aimed at people that want to be in the centre of a city."
