Lord Myners: Barclays charge 'very, very significant'

Barclays PLC and four former executives have been charged with conspiracy to commit fraud and the provision of unlawful financial assistance.

Former Labour Peer Lord Myners told the Today programme that the charge "on one of our great banks" is "very, very significant". He added that the "circularity" of money since the financial crash of 2008 is what may have led to the allegation.
