Freya's story of facial palsy struggles

A 17-year-old girl who shared her story about growing up with facial palsy says it "feels really good" to get positive feedback from others with the same condition.

Freya Beaumont, from Bruton, Somerset who was born with nerve damage to the left side of her face, wrote about the surgery she had to allow her to smile.

Miss Beaumont, who grew up in Salisbury, Wiltshire, said: "People have said, 'You're such an inspiration' and things like that'... They've been encouraging - I've encouraged them to do the same if they want to."
