Perth City Hall demolition plan rejected by Historic Scotland

Plans to demolish Perth City Hall have been rejected by Historic Scotland.

Perth and Kinross Council wanted to knock down the 100-year-old B-listed building to make way for a plaza in the city centre.

Historic Scotland said the council had failed to prove the case for demolition and had not fully explored the alternatives.
