Scottish referendum results: Scotland 'changed forever' says John Swinney

Scotland's Finance Minister John Swinney MSP says: "Tomorrow is the start of a period of which Scotland as a country has changed forever.

"We've had an enormous democratic debate, it has moved the country forward in a tremendous way, it has made Scotland a much more self confident country and, as a consequence, all of us who live in Scotland will have to work out where we go from here."

Mr Swinney was speaking at the Perth and Kinross count.
