Sir Tom Hunter's world-class education mission
Sir Tom Hunter has been on a mission to find out what makes a good education and how to ensure that Scotland's education system can provide this for all children, regardless of background.
During a visit to Dunblane High School, ranked fourth best state school in Scotland for its exam results, pupils and teachers have been sharing their thoughts on why the school performs so well.
Head teacher Frank Lennon says the focus is on achievement and not just exam results; a view echoed by senior pupils who say that taking a broader view of all the opportunities available to them is key.
The businessman and philanthropist visited the school in his quest to deliver a world-class education to every child before presenting his findings to First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
