Dutch royals: The view from Amsterdam

Around one million people are expected to descend on Amsterdam this week as Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands formally abdicates, and her son Prince Willem-Alexander is invested as the new king.

Willem-Alexander, 46, and his Argentine wife Maxima Zorreguieta, who married in 2002, have three young daughters.

But what do people on the streets of Amsterdam think about their royal family?
