Iran comes top in the number of global road accident deaths

Iran has the highest number of deaths caused by road accidents in the world, according to the World Health Organisation's most recent report on road safety.

The country's most popular and affordable car - the Pride - has been partly blamed for this as the majority have no airbags or anti-locking-brake systems.
