Egypt prisons: Human rights groups call for improved conditions

Dozens of prisoners have died in Egypt's overcrowded jails over the past year, according to human rights groups.

They claim it is partly because of a campaign of deliberate abuse against political detainees.

The government denies allegations of mistreatment, saying the prisons are simply too full.
