The Sun leads on an interview with the mother of Madeleine McCann, external. Kate McCann says is convinced her missing daughter remains close to the resort in the Algarve where she was abducted in 2007.

'No defence'
As the prime minister begins a final diplomatic push before this week's Brussels summit on his EU reforms package, the leader writers make their contributions to the debate.
The Financial Times says the City has always been ambivalent in its attitude to the EU, external but if it is to prosper, the UK needs to stay in Europe, build alliances and defend its turf.
