United Airlines mocked online after passenger's removal

The internet is lashing out at United Airlines after a passenger was forcibly removed from one of their flights - by inventing brutal new slogans for the company.
A man was pulled out of his seat and dragged down the aisle in an overbooked flight from Chicago to Louisville on Sunday. Videos of the incident have been widely shared online, prompting the airline to apologise, external for "having to re-accommodate these customers".
Using the Twitter hashtag #NewUnitedAirlinesMottos, people have been ridiculing the airline, whose actual motto is "Fly the Friendly Skies".
"You carry on, we carry off," suggested one. "If we can't seat you, we will beat you," was another.
Many suggestions such as "Board as a doctor, Leave as a patient," referenced the claim that the forcibly removed passenger was a doctor who needed to be at a hospital the following morning.

The US carrier was also caught up in a row last month after it barred two girls - travelling on a special pass for employees and guests - from flying for wearing leggings.
"Already booked on #United for a flight later this month and can't cancel. Plan to wear leggings and body armour," one user tweeted, external.

One user said, external he would no longer be using the airline, deleting its app from his phone.

And the airline's logo was re-designed, external by one Twitter user to reflect the violent removal after a video of the incident showed the the passenger's bloodied face.
