MoD to use F1 vehicle in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Defence is hoping the high speed world of Formula One racing can help it build better armoured vehicles for battle zones.

The Foxhound, partly designed by Formula 1 engineers, has a V-shaped armoured hull designed to safeguard those inside from roadside bombs.
