Japan power price hike considered
The Japanese government is due to decide whether to approve a 10% increase in the price of electricity.
The rise has been requested by the Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco), which has just posted an annual loss of 781bn yen ($9.7bn; £6bn) following the disaster at the Fukushima nuclear plant in March 2011.
Tepco is also having to pay for importing energy from outside Japan after all of the country's nuclear power stations were shut down, as the BBC's Roland Buerk explains.
