Autumn Statement: Corporation tax cut 'advert for UK'

Corporation tax is to be cut to 21% from April 2014, the chancellor has announced in his Autumn Statement.

Mr Osborne called the reduction "an advert for our country that says 'come here, invest here, create jobs here, Britain is open for business.'"

He also said that small and medium firms would be able to claim capital allowance tax relief on plants and machinery of £250,000.
