Portugal unemployment: Fishing to make ends meet

Portugal has been suffering what the International Labour Organisation calls "the most critical economic and social crisis" in recent history.

One in seven jobs have been lost since 2008, making unemployment in the country amongst the highest in the eurozone.

Like other crisis-hit south European countries it has seen a growing number of people leave city finance jobs to seek more traditional forms of employment like farming or fishing.
