How the new North Sea helicopter life jacket works

The BBC has been given access to the first test of new safety equipment being brought in to save lives if another helicopter crashes in the North Sea.

There have been fears over the safety of offshore workers after a series of accidents in recent years.

The Civil Aviation Authority, which regulates safety, is bringing in a new life jacket that will give workers more time to escape underwater.

Transport Correspondent Richard Westcott was shown how the new jacket differs from the old one and how it works.
