Can technology cut corruption in India?

In 2013 India was ranked only 94th in the Transparency International index - where first place is perceived to be the least corrupt nation. By 2015 it had moved up to 76th.

So still a long way to go, but might adapting more technology be helping India to slowly clean up its act as well as its image?
