NatWest redesigns banking app for blind people

There's a new banking app for the blind and partially sighted, developed with special help from the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).

It's from NatWest, which has made dozens of changes to try to iron out the problems people with visual impairments encounter when using their smartphones. Nearly 2 million people in the UK have lost their sight and NatWest predicts that 10,000 of its customers will be helped by the app.

The RNIB's Sabeena DeSaram, who is partially sighted, has been showing Simon Gompertz what the benefits are.
