UN agency approves first-ever aviation pollution deal

The world's first aviation pollution agreement has been approved by the United Nations agency that oversees the industry after several years of negotiations and disagreements.

The International Civil Aviation Organization's global carbon offsetting system is expected to freeze the growth of emissions from commercial flights.
