‘Additional tax on the self-employed is a mistake’

Chancellor Phillip Hammond has faced a backlash over plans to increase National Insurance Contributions for the self-employed.

On the Today programme, Former Tory Chancellor Lord Lamont urges the government to embrace radical tax reform and says self-employed people should pay less tax but also get less benefits.
